A few years ago I read Everybody Was So Young: Gerald and Sara Murphy, a Lost Generation Love Story, after coming across mention of the Murphys in a few art books. The combination of interwar Europe x art history x cool houses was a winning one for me, so I checked it out, and loved it. I mentioned it on tumblr during a year-end round-up of books, genarti took note and read it, and then skygiants stole it off of her. becca's review of it is brilliant, and everyone should read it.
